HOW TO LIVE IN FARNHAM IN A CHEAP BUT QUALITY WAY
This artist's book is in the form of a set containing four zines in various formats. These Zines document my year in Farnham with a focus on the art of 'Money saving'. The four zines' topics include shopping advice, a part-time work diary, a guide to charity shops and self-made recipes. I hope that my piece will help other students who come to live in Farnham in a light-hearted and humorous way.
COMMERCIAL ILLUSTRATION FOR HUAWEI
The illustrations were created for Huawei's 2021 Sustainability Report. I combined traditional linocut elements with digital drawing. At the same time I used a bright colour palette, echoing Huawei's positive results in its sustainability report.
WHERE IS SHE?
Where is she? is a wordless picture book. It describes the story of Cat and I playing hide and seek in our home. I use watercolours and acrylics to create textures and collage to build the scenes, while drawing the main characters using simple, clean blocks of colour and lines.
STREET CREATURES - Greeting Cards
I created a set of illustrations and made greeting cards on the theme of street creatures. The backgrounds in which they appear are some of the small shops in my town. I wanted to reflect life in a comic book style with somewhat absurd character designs. Of course, this set of cards is a great seller!
